What is the 5-minute experience?+
Five minutes is the minimum time the craft demands. Leaf to powder, powder to bowl, bowl to whisk — in front of you. Not a drink, it's a state. You don't wait for your matcha. You watch it made.

Each 5-minute session produces six cups. Two reserved online, four kept for walk-ins. Capping each order at two keeps the ritual fair — more people experience the mill, no single group takes the whole session. Need more? Place a second order, or book the Ritual Workshop for private sessions.
RITUAL WORKSHOP →Can I walk in without booking?+
Yes — four of every six cups are kept for walk-ins. Weekends and evenings fill fast; reserving the online two guarantees your spot. If the session is already full, we'll quote the next open slot — never longer than 15 minutes during opening hours.
RESERVE 5 MINUTES →Can I customize my drink?+
No. Each grade holds a taste profile the farmer intended — sweetness, umami, finish. We don't blend, sweeten, or substitute. The menu is the menu. This is original state. No shortcuts.
What grades do you offer?+
Four ceremonial grades from Uji, Tokyo — each in its own cup, never blended:
- Wakaba — the entry tencha. Bright, vegetal, everyday.
- Muyu — milk-forward. Rounded body, holds under oat and whole milk.
- Rikyu — usucha. Umami, quiet bitterness, long finish.
- Hikari — koicha. Flagship reserve, stone-milled for the thick bowl.
How do I reserve?+
Pick a date, pick a slot, pay the cart. You'll get an email with your reference code (e.g. MCH-047) and slot time. Arrive two minutes early — we start the mill when you do.
Shipping, delivery & pickup+
Matcha in a cup stays here — drinks are in-store only, no delivery. Matcha in a tin ships anywhere in KL & Selangor (RM15 flat, free over RM150). Pickup at the Bukit Damansara store during opening hours.
FULL DELIVERY RULES →Can I change or cancel my slot?+
Yes, up to 24 hours before your slot. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll release your cup for another customer and issue store credit for your next visit.
Within 24 hours the session is locked — the mill is already prepped for the six cups, and your two are committed. This is not a policy. It's fairness to the four walk-ins and two online guests who planned their afternoon around that window.
ORIGINAL STATE. NO SHORTCUTS — we hold the line on cancellations the same way we hold it on syrups.
